About Terence
I have traveled extensively, primarily on business, and have lived in The U.S.A., Canada and China. During my time in China, as a result of a health issue with a teacher of English from Canada, through a contact at The Guangzhou University of Foreign Studies I was asked if I could assist by teaching English on a temporary basis (originally 2 weeks). This became 3 years. I have worked with several U.K. companies on communication and presentation skills training.

I believe in participation, using visual aids with puzzles to help reinforce identification and use of words. I try to initially avoid unnecessary expansion of vocabulary preferring to see students use well constructed sentences using words most people know the meaning of.
