About Jasmine
I am fluent in both Mandarin and English. I did the International Baccalaureate and got a total of 39 with HL 776. I did HL Economics (7), Mandarin B (7) and English Lang & Lit (6), SL Maths (5), Chemistry (5) and theatre (7). I've taught younger kids and mentored students in my school. In London, I currently taught two students through A levels Economics.

For Mandarin it will depend on the level I'm teaching at. If it is a younger student, I will focus more on games to practice speaking and listening. I will also bring reading materials to try to practice their vocabulary. At a more advanced level, there will be small quizzes included to practice their Chinese writing and improve their vocabulary list.
For economics, there will be more of me speaking as I will have to explain theory but require the student to re-explain it to me. I greatly believe in active recall, which is an efficient learning process that enhances your memory. I will play different games with flashcards to help with definitions and vocabulary. Additionally, having small quizzes are useful so feedback can be given. But I'm open to what the student wants and needs so the classes will be tailored towards the particular student I'm teaching.
I often tailor my classes for my students and prepare the past papers and presentation that they need to help them best achieve their target.
