About Iram
Hi! I’m Iram, a final-year Optometry student with a strong background in math and science. I’ve always loved learning, and over the years, I’ve developed a passion for helping others grow their confidence in subjects that can sometimes feel challenging — like math! I started tutoring because I truly believe that every student learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is a little extra support and a fresh perspective to make things click. With my own experience as a student in a science-heavy degree, I understand how important it is to build strong foundational skills — and how valuable it can be to have someone patient and encouraging along the way. I’m committed to creating a positive, judgment-free space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating progress. Whether it’s catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead, I’m here to help each student feel capable and confident.

My lessons are student-focused and adapted to each learner’s needs. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and practice questions to help students understand and feel confident with maths.
Lessons are usually 1 hour, but I’m flexible with timing.
I’m in my final year of a Bachelor of Optometry and have experience tutoring K–12 students in both one-on-one and group settings.
I teach online maths lessons for all school levels (K–12) — from beginners to HSC prep.
