About Lewis
I am a professional Control Systems Engineer with 10 years of experience working in engineering, automation, and software development. I currently work in a lead role where I design and support complex electrical and software control systems used in real-world industrial environments.
Alongside my engineering career, I enjoy teaching and mentoring students, graduates, junior engineers and apprentices. I have experience supporting people who are studying, engineering, and technical subjects, and I understand that everyone learns at a different pace.
My goal is to help students build confidence, understand the subject properly, and develop problem-solving skills that will help them in exams, university, or their career aspirations.
I am patient, reliable, and always aim to make lessons clear, practical, and easy to follow.

I provide structured and practical lessons tailored to the student’s level and goals. My teaching focuses on building understanding step by step, using real engineering examples to make difficult concepts easier to follow. I have experience mentoring graduates, junior engineers and apprentices in industry, so I am comfortable explaining complex technical subjects in a clear and patient way.
Lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-Level, university students, apprentices, and adults learning engineering, electrical, automation, or software topics. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and can be adapted for coursework help, exam preparation, or general understanding.
I aim to make lessons relaxed, supportive, and focused on helping students gain confidence as well as knowledge.
