Experienced lecturer with amazing track record - Art and Design tutor with Nuno

Nuno helped me a lot when I was writing my MA dissertation. Although it was not in his subject, he helped me talk through and structure my own ideas and supported me to create a more coherent overall structure and organisation. He also worked with my sentence structure and helped me to make my ideas clearer to the reader. Doing this not only helped my writing but also made my own ideas clearer to me. This has served me very well as my academic career proceeded and I am very grateful for his input. I went back to Nuno when I was struggling with my PhD proposal and he helped me understand the requirements of each section and was very clear and knowledgeable. His style is calm and convincing and I was never in doubt that he was giving me sound advice. I would recommend his work to anyone trying to navigate the complexities of writing at HE level.

Nuno tutored my daughter for her A Level History of Art and later on when she went to university he tutored her in Academic Writing as well. He is a very knowledgeable tutor, with a wide range of knowledge around the Humanities, which meant that not only he could cover the A Level curriculum but mostly gave my daughter the tools and academic background she needed to pursue her university studies. Nuno was always very punctual and with the timings of the lessons. From my daughter's comments I know that Nuno was patient and friendly tutor and she got on with him very well throughout the two years they worked together. When I had the initial meeting with Nuno, I understood he also teaches other humanities but we only used him for History of Art and Academic Writing so can only comment on these subjects.
