I ensure you don't just learn the theory, but can actually apply it in exams. 1. The "Warm-Up" (5 Minutes) Recap: A quick 2-minute quiz on what we covered last week to ensure the knowledge is "locked in." The Goal: We define exactly what we want to master in this hour (e.g., "Today we will master IS-LM models" or "Today we balance a complex consolidated balance sheet"). 2. The "Bridge" (15 Minutes) Concept Breakdown: I take the complex theory and deconstruct it. Bilingual Support: If you’re struggling with the English terminology, I’ll explain the core logic in Mandarin or Cantonese first to ensure you have 100% clarity before we move to the maths. 3. Guided Practice (20 Minutes) The "I Do, We Do, You Do" Method: I demonstrate a high-level problem. We solve one together on a shared digital whiteboard. You solve one independently while I observe and provide instant feedback. 4. Exam Application (15 Minutes) Mark Scheme Analysis: We look at actual past paper questions from your specific module or exam board (AQA, Edexcel, or Uni of exams). The "Examiner’s Mindset": I show you exactly where students usually lose marks and how to phrase your answers to get the full "A" grade. 5. The "Wrap-Up" (5 Minutes) Summary: A 60-second summary of what you learned. Task Setting: I'll set one "Gold Standard" question for you to try before our next session.
