Experienced Psychology Teacher and Examiner Specialising in A-Level and GCSE
I am a dedicated and highly experienced Psychology teacher with over 20 years of expertise, holding a BSc in Psychology and a PGCE. Since 2001, I have specialized in teaching A-Level and GCSE Psychology, working across a range of exam boards, including AQA, OCR, EDUQAS, and WJEC. My extensive experience enables me to design effective teaching strategies tailored to the specific requirements of each syllabus.
As an examiner for EDUQAS and AQA A-Level Psychology, I bring unique insights into the examination process. Hi! I am a highly experienced Psychology teacher with over two decades of expertise in the field. I hold a BSc in Psychology (2000) from City University and a PGCE (2001) from the prestigious UCL Institute of Education. Had previously gotten lessons from Sayma to focus on Component two as I had lacked confidence in and today I had got back my mock restults and gotten an A (2 marks off an A*) ! Sayma is truly brilliant at tailoring and focussing on specific needs that you’re struggling with!
Sayma really helped me a lot. On my very first session she made a personal schedule to help me with my studies. She focused on my concerns (essay writing) and used lots of different ways to help me get better at writing. She was very patient and improved my confidence in psychology.
With Sayma’s help I was able to achieve an A grade in psychology. I found research methods really difficult but Sayma was able to break the concepts down and used lots of practical examples to help me. I always hated maths at school but Sayma helped me so much with statistics.
Sayma helped me so much with my A level psychology. I had a negative experience at my college as we kept having different teachers but Sayma tutored me in the second year and helped me understand the concepts and I went from averaging a D grade to achieving a B grade in my final exams and was able to get in the up of my choice.
