As a current Pharmacy student, I bring a strong foundation in scientific principles and a practical understanding of their applications. With every student I tutor, I align my lessons alongside their curriculum, covering Biology and Chemistry topics (GCSE/A-Level), Spanish (GCSE/A-Level) and Physics (GCSE). I have experience with Edexcel, AQA and OCR specifications. I believe that proactive learning enhances understanding and retention, and I incorporate this through the use of visual learning where possible.
I take a personalized approach, assessing and taking each student's strengths and weaknesses into account and providing a scheduled learning outcome plan to help students reach their personal goals and aspirations. My experience as a tutor to date has provided me with the skills to provide valuable insight into exam requirements and effective teaching strategies. While these all vary between students, I hope to cater my tuition to students' particular needs, leveraging online resources, interactive activities and active recall, making my lessons as dynamic and engaging as possible!
As a Spanish speaker, I am also able to provide language exposure and insights into what is required of GCSE and A-level Spanish students, placing particular emphasis on grammar, communication skills, listening, reading and writing tasks.
My background in Pharmacy brings a unique perspective to science and healthcare education and I hope serves as inspiration for other students interested in pursuing related careers.
