About Fleur
I’m a native English speaker with over 15 years’ experience helping students improve their English. I’ve always loved language, communication and getting to know people from different cultures and backgrounds. Teaching English allows me to combine all of these interests while helping students grow in confidence and express themselves more naturally. I really enjoy creating a calm, friendly space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and gradually building their skills. Every student is different, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs, goals and personalities. Whether you're learning English for work, study or day-to-day life, I aim to make learning practical, enjoyable and genuinely useful.

I help people improve their English for everyday life, work, travel and social situations. My lessons are friendly, relaxed and designed to help people feel more confident when communicating and interacting with others. I provide real conversation practice focused on building vocabulary, improving pronunciation and helping people speak more fluently and comfortably. I gently correct mistakes and suggest clearer, more natural language for better expression. In addition to Conversation and General English, I offer Business English and a wide range of exam preparation including IELTS and Cambridge English. I also offer tailored support for students, academics, job seekers and others. Additionally, I provide proofreading, editing and writing services and take on various ad-hoc projects assisting with social and administrative matters. Lessons are available both online and face-to-face in a public building at London King’s Cross (not my home). While I find 1.5-hour sessions ideal, I'm happy to consider other options.
