About Ann
Hi! I’m a former elementary school teacher from China. I’m fluent in English. I have 8 years of online teaching experience and have been teaching students in the Bay Area for over 3 years. Over the years, I’ve helped learners build literacy, gain confidence in speaking, and improve their school grades and exam results. I hope to help more students achieve their Mandarin learning goals. While I primarily teach children and teens, motivated adult learners are also welcome.

I use a structured YCT/HSK-based curriculum tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. Lessons may include conversation, pronunciation, pinyin, character recognition, reading, writing, exam preparation, or school support, depending on the student’s needs. Each student receives an individual learning plan, regular feedback, and home practice guidance. I teach children and teens, from complete beginners to continuing learners, including heritage learners.
