About James
I have tutored since a young age, teaching maths to students of varying ages ranging from Year 4 (8-9yrs) to 1st year undergraduate students. I was the computer science prefect in my last year of sixth form and ran the computer science club - teaching coding to students of 12-18yrs. I speak Dutch to an advanced level due to living there for 8 years and am natively fluent in English. I have volunteered in Scouting for over 5 years now, developing my skills with younger generations. I am now working as a full time Application Developer at a Fortune 500 tech company whilst completing a degree in Digital and Technology Solutions.

I am passionate about maths and love educating young people. I am happy to teach basic level as well as advanced topics to any age group. I specialise in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus, but have experience in a wide range of mathematical concepts and practices. I am happy to help with homework, test preparation, and problem-solving. I have a successful history of teaching maths to students of all ages and abilities, and am able to adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of each individual student. I generally operate in 60-minute slots, but am open to suggestions and requests.
