Hi, my name is Aja! I have been a math educator for more than 10 years and I have worked with learners of many ages and backgrounds. I truly believe that succeeding in math is not about talent, but is about how you are taught.
I specialize in a variety of math subjects, including topics ranging from Algebra through Calculus III, Linear Algebra, and AP-level courses. My approach to teaching is entirely student-centered and based on how you understand information. Our first session is all about getting to know how you think, where you feel confident, where you feel stuck, and what may have discouraged you in the past.
I break down complex ideas into simple, logical steps and explain the “why” behind everything we do. This way, we focus on building connections between topics instead of just memorizing.
