About DeVante
With more than 10 years of experience in education, I've provided classroom teaching, one-on-one tutoring, small-group instruction, and homeschool support to students across a variety of learning environments. Through my company, New Intuitive Development (NEWID), we've also served more than 500 students. I believe in being prepared, patient, and dependable, and I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. My goal is to provide high-quality, personalized instruction that helps every student make meaningful and lasting academic progress.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. I begin by identifying learning gaps, then create a personalized plan that builds understanding and confidence one step at a time.
A typical lesson includes a review of previous material, clear instruction on new concepts, guided practice, and independent application to ensure the student truly understands the material. I provide immediate feedback and adjust my teaching as the student progresses.
What sets me apart is my 10+ years of experience in both the classroom and one-on-one tutoring. I've worked with more than 500 students and focus on helping students understand concepts rather than simply complete assignments. I also incorporate custom practice materials when appropriate to reinforce learning between sessions.
I work with students in grades K–8 in math, reading, English language arts, study skills, and mindfulness training. Whether a student needs extra support, wants to get ahead, or is learning at home, my goal is to help them become confident, independent learners.
