About Homa
As a dedicated mathematics professional, I've had the wonderful opportunity to spend my entire life immersed in the world of numbers and equations. I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and have been fortunate enough to have my research published in international journals. While these credentials might sound intimidating, they simply reflect my passion for a deep understanding of the subject. My extensive research background means I'm able to take even the most complex ideas and break them down into simple, manageable steps for you. But above all else, my true calling is teaching. I genuinely believe that with the right support, anyone can not only understand math but also learn to love it. I've had the joy of teaching students at every level, from their very first steps with addition and subtraction all the way through advanced college and university courses. My approach is focused on you. I'm here to create a supportive, stress-free, and patient learning environment where we can tackle any challenge together. I employ a practice-oriented methodology to deliver comprehensive mathematics instruction, emphasizing the development of core competencies while actively engaging students in problem-solving during each session. Holding a Ph.D. in Mathematics and possessing over a decade of teaching experience at both secondary and post-secondary levels, I am equipped to teach all areas of mathematics, preferably from Grade 9 and above. My approach is tailored to each student’s academic background and learning style, to foster not only subject mastery but also the application of mathematical reasoning across disciplines and real-life situations.
