About Kyla
I am a teacher. I have been teaching math for 4 years. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BA in Elementary Education. I currently teach 7th grade but have experience with higher mathematics and also have the education to work with younger students as well.

I teach my class by modeling a topic, practicing the topic together with my students and then letting the students practice that topic on their own. It is my belief that you must struggle to learn, so during independent practice I will assist minimally to see how the students are doing. It is important students learn how to problem solve without my help. Then we move on and address any questions or specific problems that came up during the lesson.
