Hi! I’m Chelsy, a certified high school math teacher with a Master’s degree in Mathematics and eight years of experience helping students succeed in everything from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus BC. As a passionate and experienced math educator with a Master’s in Mathematics and nearly a decade in the classroom, I believe every student can access deep mathematical understanding with the right support. My teaching method blends inquiry-based learning with real-world connections, helping students develop confidence and make sense of math on their own terms.
A typical lesson with me begins with a quick check-in and a warm-up that activates prior knowledge. From there, we explore new content together through guided discovery, examples, and collaborative problem-solving.
