About Maha
My name is Maha Fatima and I am a dedicated Math tutor based in Karachi, Pakistan, with over 4 years of experience helping students succeed academically.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at FAST University, one of Pakistan's most prestigious universities. This strong academic foundation in a technical field gives me a deeper understanding of Mathematics and logical problem solving, which I bring directly into my lessons.
Beyond tutoring, I have served as Head of an Education Department, overseeing teachers, subjects, and curriculum planning for Grade 1 to Grade 6. This experience taught me how to think about education systematically, not just as a tutor but as an educator who understands the bigger picture of student growth and academic development.
I genuinely enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds. My approach is always patient, structured, and encouraging, because I believe confidence is just as important as knowledge when it comes to Math. I adapt to each student's unique needs and make sure no one is left behind.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, clear, and tailored to each student's individual pace and learning style. I believe every child can excel in Math when taught with patience and the right approach.
I have over 4 years of tutoring experience, teaching students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in Mathematics, Algebra, Trigonometry, and other core subjects. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Computer Science at FAST University , one of Pakistan's top universities , which keeps my mathematical thinking sharp and up to date.
I have experience teaching students from diverse international backgrounds through online platforms, adapting my teaching style to suit different curricula, cultures, and learning needs. I also have hands-on experience with the Canadian curriculum, having worked on Math curriculum planning for Grade 9 and 10 homeschooling students using the IXL learning platform.
I have also served as Head of the Education Department, managing teachers and curriculum for Grade 1 to Grade 6, so I understand what structured, quality education looks like from both sides.
My lessons are typically 45 to 60 minutes long, fully online, and structured around the student's goals, whether that's building basics, improving grades, or preparing for exams. I use real examples, step-by-step problem solving, and regular progress checks to make sure every student is moving forward.
