About Shivani
I am an experienced Mathematics tutor with an MSc in Mathematics and a B.Ed., passionate about helping students understand mathematics with confidence.
I teach students from Grade 6-10 through personalized online lessons, with a focus on the Canadian Curriculum. I currently teach Grade 7 Canadian Students online and have experience teaching students from Grade 5-10 through school teaching and private\home tutoring.
My teaching approach is simple, structured and concept-based. I focus on understanding the "why" behind each concept rather than memorize steps. I adapt my lessons according to each student's learning level, pace, and individual needs.
Whether a student needs help strengthening their basics, keeping up with schoolwork, preparing for assessments or gaining confidence in Mathematics, I aim to make every lesson clear, engaging and comfortable.
I believe every student can improve in Mathematics with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement. My goal is not only to help students solve problems but also to develop strong mathematical thinking and confidence.

My online Mathematics classes are personalized according to each student's learning level, goals, and pace. I follow the Canadian Curriculum and focus on building strong concepts through clear explanations, examples, guided practice, and problem-solving.
Each lesson is structured to help students understand concepts step by step rather than simply memorize formulas or procedures. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate throughout the class.
Classes can include support with current school topics, homework, practice questions, revision, test preparation, and strengthening foundational and pace according to the student's needs.
My goal is to make Mathematics easier to understand, improve problem-solving skills, and help students become more confident and independent learners.
