About Oscar
I am an experienced tutor with over 3 years of teaching Maths to school, college, and working professional students. My teaching approach focuses on creating a compassionate and motivating environment, where each student feels confident in their abilities. I adapt my lessons to suit the unique learning style of each student, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learners, ensuring they fully grasp key concepts. My teaching methodology for Maths focuses on creating a compassionate and motivating learning environment. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and I work to build their confidence and interest in the subject. I adapt my lessons to each student’s unique learning style, whether they are visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic learners, to ensure that they fully understand the concepts being taught. Problem-solving is at the core of my teaching approach. I guide students step-by-step through problems, helping them develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Instead of just focusing on memorisation, I encourage students to think deeply and creatively, building their problem-solving abilities to apply in different situations. I aim to make Maths engaging and fun, breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand steps. I also provide plenty of practice exercises to reinforce learning and improve retention. Along with Maths, I can teach related subjects such as Physics and Chemistry, using a similar approach to make these subjects accessible and interesting. My goal is to create a positive, supportive atmosphere where students feel empowered to tackle any challenge confidently.
