I believe every student can improve in Mathematics when concepts are explained clearly and lessons are adapted to their individual learning needs. My approach is student-centred, practical, interactive, and results-oriented.
Teaching Techniques and Methodology
I begin by assessing the student's current level, strengths, weaknesses, and learning goals. I then explain concepts step by step using simple language, worked examples, diagrams, and real-life applications. Students are encouraged to participate actively by solving problems, asking questions, and explaining their reasoning.
I use regular exercises, short assessments, exam-style questions, and feedback to monitor progress. For students preparing for examinations, I focus on syllabus coverage, revision strategies, past-paper practice, time management, and identifying common mistakes.
Typical Lesson Length
My standard lesson is 60 minutes, although I can provide 90-minute or 120-minute sessions for advanced topics, examination preparation, or intensive revision.
