About Adam
I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge as an economist, with a specialisation in Mathematics and Statistics. I have prepared several secondary school students to successfully accomplish their GCSE and A-level exam goals in Mathematics.
My focus is on approaching learning from the students' perspective. By quickly interpreting a piece of lecture content or problem sheet, I can help in clearing up unclear sections to the point where they can implement the material confidently. I aim to give students the tools and knowledge with which they will thrive when doing their own studying.
I have 10 years of experience doing competition level mathematics, ranking in the top 10 of Hungary, winning multiple national math competitions. This gave me a very solid foundation for structuring problem solving, and giving precise solutions.

My emphasis in teaching is on efficiently providing a structured and long-lasting mathematical knowledge that you can build on. I can help in understanding complicated concepts, going through problem sheet solutions, and preparing for exams. But most importantly, I will provide students the tools to navigate confidently in the area of mathematics when they are doing unsupervised individual work.
I use an iPad as a digital whiteboard during my teachings as it makes the process much more frictionless and collaborative.
