About Simran
My name is Simran, and I am a passionate and experienced tutor with a background in Biomedical Science and Personal Training. I have a strong educational and professional foundation that allows me to bring a unique perspective to my tutoring sessions.
After obtaining a BSc in Biomedical Science and achieving Level 2 & Level 3 qualifications in Personal Training, I spent five years working in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales position. Seeking a more fulfilling career, I transitioned into the fitness industry, where I currently work as a Personal Trainer for Age UK and Longevity Health & Fitness. Additionally, I have been tutoring for the past three years, focusing on Maths and Biology.

My tutoring journey started three years ago, and during this time, I have successfully worked with students across various age groups and academic levels. My primary specialisation is in Maths, but I also have expertise in Biology. My approach to teaching involves simplifying complex ideas to help students thrive in mathematics and science.
I believe that learning should be an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for students. As an educator, it is my responsibility to understand how each child learns best and tailor my approach to suit their individual needs. I take pride in making challenging subjects like Maths accessible by breaking down concepts into manageable parts. By fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, I aim to instil confidence in my students and help them achieve their academic goals.
