About Dana
I have previous experience tutoring primary school students in Mathematics, as well as a high school student for the ACT Scaling Test.
I graduated from a Steiner School in 2020 with an ATAR of 99.8. In Years 11 & 12 I studied two lines of Mathematics, both Specialist and Methods (the two highest levels available to me). I achieved consistently excellent scores throughout high school, in strong part due to my passion and curiosity around Mathematics and STEM subjects.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science at USC.

I am flexible to the student's needs. For students struggling to grasp concepts, I aim to build up their understanding, and connect the concept with previous learning. I believe that once you can understand why something works the way it does, employing that strategy to solve problems becomes a lot easier. This is why asking questions of me is so important, and I implore my students to stop me and ask questions as soon as they start to get confused.
However if you are already a high - achieving student, or someone who has no problem with the concepts of maths, and simply wants some extra practice, I am happy to spend our lessons working on practice questions, and discussing any mistakes or queries.
I am also always open to feedback, and happy to discuss your needs.
