About Niam
I understand maths is not straightforward but learning to understand mathematical procedures and gaining academic confidence will help you throughout your life. I am an A* a level maths student who has been tutoring for 3 year. I am a Neuroscience students but found a passion to teach and develop my students. Maths is not easy but I can ensure that I will do my best to improve your grades and give you the motivation you need. I am a 19 years-old, so I understand school stress and the hardship of balancing social activities and school. However, I can show you the tricks and tips I implemented to access the top grades. I’ve helped numerous student achieve grade 9 and As in maths and science over my 3 years of tutoring.

I believe every child has the potential to grow and reach their academic potential. I was a grade 4 student growing up but learned skills and techniques to achieve a grade 9 in GCSE maths (A**) and grade 9 (A**) in GCSE further maths. My lessons are always tailored to the student to further enhance their strengths and develop their weaknesses. In the first free lesson, I like to assess the child on their mathematical intelligence and not just the grade that is labeled to them through simple tests. Maths I believe is so much more than just an exam I want my students to understand and grow to love maths. The next following lessons are planned in advance based on the student's curriculum and the noted weaknesses I identify in the taster lesson. Usual lessons contain a short starter and efficient content teaching. Every month I assess the students in exam conditions to monitor their progress and report back to parents in data snapshots. I have helped many students grow from grade 4 to grade 9 but to me, I want to make sure every student allows themselves to reach any goal inside the class and out.
