About Gulgun
I am a full time maths tutor and have been for the past 8 years, I have a degree in mathematics from King's College London. With years of experience under my belt I've been told that my approach to teaching makes it enjoyable for my students. I have a warm, patient approach and have proven success in helping my tutees reach their full potential. I specialise in GCSE and IGCSE level maths focussing on gaining a well-rounded understanding of content and problem-solving skills. I also have much experience helping students prepare for their 11 plus entrance exams. I teach all year groups up to and including GCSE level so if you just need some weekly support I am here for that too. I have had reviews such as “You’re the best tutor I’ve ever had” and “We’ll never go anywhere else for maths tuition”. I love the subject, I love to teach it and this comes across in my lessons. I offer online tuition which is very interactive and also allows the student to record the sessions if they wish to. In all my classes we focus on past exam style questions. We will work through questions via topic making sure you have a sound understanding of the key concepts and then apply that to problem solving. I will also show you all the different ways that topic can sneak up in papers. I will point out tips and tricks for getting as many marks as possible in your exam.
