About Renugah
My name is Renugah Rajah-Wilson. I have a strong academic background, having achieved top grades in my GCSEs with all 8s and 9s, and 4 A grades at A-level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics. I am now pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I will further hone my mathematical skills and analytical thinking. As a dedicated tutor, my goal is to empower my students to achieve excellence. I am committed to pushing them to reach their full potential, helping them to secure top grades. My teaching approach is rigorous yet supportive, ensuring that my students not only understand the material but also develop the confidence and skills needed to excel in their studies.

In the first lesson, I conduct a thorough assessment of each student’s current level to ensure there are no foundational gaps, as a strong foundation is crucial for achieving top grades, such as a grade 9 at GCSE. After this initial assessment, I focus on areas where the student feels less confident, ensuring these weaknesses are addressed before covering the entire course comprehensively. I believe in challenging my students and, where appropriate, will introduce more advanced material from higher levels to push them beyond their current curriculum. This approach helps to build their confidence and ensures they are well-prepared for any challenges. To keep parents fully informed, I send a detailed email after each lesson, outlining the topics covered, the student’s progress, and the homework assigned for the next session. This transparency ensures that parents are always aware of their child's development. With over five years of experience teaching mathematics at all levels, including A-level students, I bring a deep understanding of the subject. As a Further Maths student, I can offer various methods to solve problems, helping students to develop a flexible and comprehensive approach to tackling mathematical challenges. Lessons typically last between 60 to 90 minutes, allowing ample time for in-depth exploration of topics and thorough understanding.
