About Daslie

Hi, there. My English name is Daslie, from China.

I’ve got CTCSOL(Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. ), certificate with Mandarin Proficiency Test, worked as an TA in an International school before . Now a tutor in bilingual school.

I’ve got lots of experience in learning languages. (Native-Chinese-speakers, Fluent in English, taught myself Cantonese and Taiwanese, and can speak some Japanese) .

One of the most important thing that I learned from my working experience is that I really enjoyed working with students and using languages to communicate and help with people from different countries.

Love the feelings of sharing knowledge, students can really learn something from me and witness their improvement, which I know I can get job satisfaction from here.

Love travel and history, can’t wait to share the culture, the views and languages of my motherland, Hope to see you in my class.

About the lesson

I think The best way to learn a language is to use it.I will customize a lesson plan for you and tailor the lessons to your goals and pacing. I will not only teach you new words and structures, but also help you use them in real Chinese conversations. I will also share the most authentic Chinese culture with you.

I am a person full of patience, you can interrupt at any time to ask a question. If you make a mistake while using Chinese, I will lead you step by step to figure it out together.

You may heard that Chinese is the most difficult language to learn, especially the four tones. But don't worry, I will make Chinese learning easier for you and help you build the confidence of learning Chinese.

I am interested and good at Chinese history, can share a lot with you. It will surely help with your Chinese learning.

Besides, I love travel. And I have been to many places in China, can share a lot with you if you also interested in this beautiful country.

So here I am.Can’t wait to share the cultures, views and languages of my motherland, Look forward to seeing you in my class.

Perfect! Daslie has been extremely methodical and pragmatic in her teaching, giving prominence to the tonality of the words(which in essence as understood from Daslie, forms the bedrock of Mandarin). The fact that she encourages my enthusiasm is extremely heartening and gives a load of confidence to the student, which furthermore properls him/her to try further. It is a session of immense insights attending her classes and would suggest her for anyone willing to get into the language world of Mandarin

Her impressive self-learning ability amazes me every time!

I really enjoy our lessons together – it even inspired me to pick up Japanese again! Sometimes using Japanese to explain certain points makes the lesson so much more efficient, and she absorb everything so fast.
