About Rebecca
Hi, I am Rebecca. I am a native Chinese speaker and I love Chinese culture. Ｉgot my bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature and master's degree in Comparative Literature. Learning a new language can be interesting while challenging sometimes, and I hope my knowledge in classical and modern Chinese will help you lay a solid foundation for your Chinese learning.
I've been working as a qualified Chinse teacher for 3 years, with over 2000 hours of teaching experience offline. My students are mainly aged 6-12. For young students, I use the YCT textbooks, Chinese Made Easy, as well as Standard Chinese textbooks (used in public primary schools in China). I specialize in teaching Chinese pinyin(Phonetics), Chinese characters and basic Chinese listening, reading and speaking for young students.
I've been giving lessons for adult learners since 2017. For adults, I recommend the HSK textbooks. You can get overall improvement in Chinese after learning it systematically, as well as take the HSK test to get a recognized qualification. Also, we could do special trainings in Chinese listening, speaking and writing, according to your needs.
