About Valentina
I find teaching Italian the most rewarding job I could ever do because since I have started it has enriched me as much as my students. I believe that learning a language is more than just learning grammar and vocabulary, but it is the experience of communicating and exchanging part of the culture through it. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher, with high expectations for all my students, believing that with a personal and individual approach each student can achieve high level results in languages. Most of all, it has to be fun. I have students that have been studying with me for many years now and we enjoy not only the pleasure of speaking Italian, but also the reciprocal understanding of the differences in the culture behind the language. I am loyal and flexible to my students as much as they are with me.

I have been teaching Italian for 20 years, from beginners to advanced. I have taught Italian in different colleges and in private tutorials to prepare GCSE, AS and A2 tests as well as teaching beginners courses or conversational Italian at home. Thanks to my personal approach to teaching which tailours to the needs of each individual, my students have obtained top GCSE level results (A - A*) as well as A levels ones. My lessons are friendly and relaxed, focusing on the importance of communicating from day one, whatever is your level, to make every lesson rewarding and build up confidence.
