Hello! I'm a passionate and experienced Mathematics tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students understand mathematics with confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Over the years, I have worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, teaching the UK (GCSE and A-Level), Canadian (Grades 1-11), USSC (Grades 1- Algebra 2) and other international curriculum. My students have successfully improved their grades, gained confidence in problem-solving, and developed a genuine understanding of mathematical concepts.
I believe that success in mathematics comes from understanding *why* a method works, not simply memorising formulas. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I believe that every student can excel in mathematics with the right guidance, clear explanations, and consistent practice. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong conceptual foundation rather than memorising formulas, helping students develop confidence and problem-solving skills that last beyond the classroom.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's individual learning style, pace, and goals. I begin by assessing the student's current understanding, identifying areas that need improvement, and creating a personalised learning plan. During lessons, I explain concepts step by step using clear examples, visual methods, and real-world applications whenever possible. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, and I provide plenty of guided practice before moving on to independent problem-solving.
A typical lesson lasts **60 minutes** and includes:
