About Andie
I am a current senior at Smith College, where I am majoring in Mathematics, with a minor in Economics. After graduation, I will be pursuing a Master's in Education through the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and becoming a licensed teacher of High School Mathematics in MA. I have a lot of experience working with high school and college-aged students on a wide range of quantitative topics, and enjoy watching people learn to love math.

I have been tutoring students in Mathematics for the last 5 years, with a focus on precalculus and calculus. I really enjoy working for understanding with students - it's not enough to memorize methods, you really need to know why you use different techniques and methods to succeed on Standardized testing (and in general!) My lessons are geared towards high school students preparing for the SAT or ACT's, or general homework help to supplement classroom learning. I also enjoy working with college students - which I have been doing for the last 3 years- to ensure they have the basic math skills required to succeed in their courses. No matter where you're coming from, I look forward to working with you and helping you get where you need to go!
