About Tara
I grew up in Croatia with the dream of studying abroad, but with no resources or guidance available, I had to figure everything out on my own. That journey shaped both my determination and my belief in the importance of accessible mentorship. I went on to complete a BA in International Law and Politics at Sciences Po Paris, studied Film & Media at Columbia University in New York, and later earned a Master’s in Aesthetics in the Philosophy Department at Oxford. Alongside my studies, I co-founded an NGO that has since grown into the largest youth organisation in Croatia, helping hundreds of students successfully gain admission to international universities. This work has been deeply rewarding, and it continues to inspire my teaching: I know how transformative the right guidance can be, and I want to offer my students the support I once wished I had myself.
