About Siva
I am a dedicated guitarist with close to 15 years of live performance experience across a wide range of professional settings. Over the years, I have performed at venues and events including the Esplanade, Mediacorp-related shows, private events, and many other live performances.
One of the highlights of my journey has been performing with my band in our own independently staged concert, which we successfully held twice to a full house with sold-out audiences. These experiences were especially meaningful to me because they reflected not only musicianship, but also the ability to connect strongly with a live audience.
I have also had the honor of performing in front of AR Rahman during his audio launch event in Singapore, as well as performing alongside renowned playback singers from India. These opportunities have given me valuable exposure to high-level live performance standards and strengthened my understanding of musicality, professionalism, adaptability, and stage confidence.
My journey as a guitarist has been built through years of performing, learning, and refining my craft. Through this, I have developed not only technical ability, but also a strong sense of rhythm, musical feel, accompaniment, and stage awareness. I bring these qualities into my teaching so that students can learn in a way that is both solid and practical.
I believe good teaching should be patient, encouraging, and tailored to the individual. Every student has a different pace, interest, and goal, so I aim to create lessons that are structured yet enjoyable. Whether you are starting from zero, returning to guitar after a break, or looking to improve your confidence and playing ability, I will guide you step by step in a way that is clear and manageable.
My aim is to help students build a strong foundation, play with confidence, and enjoy the process of becoming a better musician. I want students to come away not just with knowledge, but with genuine comfort and confidence on the instrument.

I offer guitar lessons for beginners and intermediate students who want to build a strong foundation and become confident players. My lessons are practical, structured, and adapted to each student’s pace and goals.
With close to 15 years of live performance experience, I bring real-world musical knowledge into my teaching. I have performed in various settings including stage shows, hotel gigs, and major event venues, so my teaching is not only based on technique, but also on practical musicianship, timing, feel, and confidence in playing.
My lessons can cover:
- basic chords and strumming
- rhythm and timing
- chord changes and smooth transitions
- fingerstyle basics
- simple lead guitar techniques
- ear training
- playing songs confidently from start to finish
- accompaniment skills for singing or playing with others
- performance tips and stage confidence
For beginners, I focus on helping students understand the instrument properly from the start, including posture, hand positioning, clean sound, rhythm, and building good habits.
For intermediate students, I can help improve consistency, musical feel, expression, and overall confidence in playing.
