About Alison
I am an experienced primary teacher and am currently completing a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. I have been teaching children across the age groups in primary school (5-11) for 12 years.
I have a lot of experience of teaching children who have special educational needs including specific difficulties such as dyslexia and children with English as an additional language. Equally I have taught many children who have excelled through gifted and talented programmes and I have many strategies that can be used to support all children, no matter their ability level.

I am an experienced primary teacher who is up to date with the new curriculum. My teaching style encourages children to perform to the best of their ability. I am always up for a challenge and a tailor made curriculum for a child, incorporating a favourite topic, book or character will help develop a passion that can change attitudes to learning.
Children will be encouraged to take ownership of their learning, develop their own strategies to become independent learners and most importantly develop a love of learning.
