About Salma
I have a degree in psychology and also completed a PGCE to gain QTS in 2014. I have 7 years’ experience as a teacher/ tutor and I am passionate about helping children to succeed. Amongst my pupils in the classroom were pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) , Gifted and Talented (G&T) and more recently those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). I also have a passion for Mental Health and a nurturing and warm teaching approach.

I possess a warm and friendly teaching approach. I can teach Phonics/ English, Maths and Science from Reception all the way up to Year 6. I have successfully prepared many students for their Year 2/Year 6 SATs and for those wishing to take 11+ tutoring for their preferred grammar school’s entrance examinations. All lessons are personalised for each of my pupils. I am happy to give feedback on my pupils’ progress and like to include parents as much as possible.
