About Darcy
I am a passionate teacher, who knows how to build and maintain strong relationships with students and whanau. I thrive in a collaborative working environment, I think critical self-reflections of lessons and practises are a big key to effective teaching, and am passionate about the growth and development of my students accademically.

I am a primary trained teacher with over six years in the education sector. Two of which were in private tutoring of maths and english to students aged year 3- year 13 (Grade 2-grade 12). I have a Bachelors in Maaori and Pasific development with a major in Te Reo Maaori.
Lessons are one hour long focusing on explicit skill development and then implementation of skill development.
From my years of teaching, I have a range of teaching techniques and skills to draw on and use dependent on the students needs.
