I'm Melissa, a learner and teacher. I am passionate about supporting students to achieve success in their learning.
Success is proficiency, understanding and application. It is also excitement, confidence and enjoyment.
I have been teaching for over 17 years in the Primary phase and am a leader in mathematics for my school trust; supporting many schools and teachers in their maths provision.

Lessons are tightly focused around small steps that build successfully to understanding, problem solving and fluency.
My lesson are based on the five pillars of mastery and I know that there are no barriers to mathematical proficiency, it is about finding the right access.
