About Yuliia
I have been working as a volunteer teaching assistant in the Year 13 school- student STEP preparation classes at Greenwich University for the school year 2017-8. These are designed for Year 13 school students of outstanding mathematical ability and ambition from across South East London.
I was usually responsible for presentation in each class and then assisted with problem-solving, patterns spotting and numeracy in each workshop.
I will continue to support students as a tutor at Greenwich University in the 2018-9 academic year.
I attended the same STEP preparation course at Greenwich University in 2016-7 as a student, and was an excellent student both as regards mathematical ingenuity and as regards clarity of presentation.
Moreover, I had independently tailored individual programmes to prepare students for the STEP exams in June 2018. I worked with a student in Italy through TutorYou platform and independently as a part-time tutor at the Woolwich Polytechnic School. Both students achieved excellent grades and secured places at the University of Cambridge and the UCL.
I am a second-year student at the London School of Economics and Political Science reading Mathematics and Economics.
