About Charlotte
I have completed a Forensic Psychology degree at the University of Winchester and am currently studying for my PhD in Health Psychology. I also have a passion for English literature, including plays and poetry, achieving an A* at GCSE and a B at A-level. I have previous experience in personally tutoring and mentoring students to improve their reading and literacy in secondary education. I currently co-chair a peer support network at my university looking to provide resources and academic advice to fellow PhD students in Psychology.

For essay writing, I take a holistic approach, dissecting topics/texts critically on a word-level, as well as considering broader debates and the context of the topic area. In areas of English Literature I can help students identify, tackle, and focus on themes that can be found within and across texts, and improve upon word choice and sentence structure. For dissertation level essay writing, I am able to help students to write critically rather than just narratively, improving on their organisation to ensure a cohesive essay.
