I am an experienced, qualified teacher with QTS and a PGCE in English and Drama Secondary Education from IOE University College London which has been ranked #1 in the world for education for the 6th year in a row (QS). I also have a BA Hons from Royal Holloway University of London and am a professional actress and singer.
I am a highly committed, experienced and passionate about teaching with over 10 years tutoring experience in a variety of educational settings.
I have taught in London, Liverpool and Hong Kong in public, grammar and independent schools as well as Saturday and extra-curricular education with students of all ages and abilities.
As well as being a qualified teacher, I currently work as a professional actor and have directed over 35 plays which gives me a unique expertise and perspective to teach literature, Shakespeare, theatre and performing arts.
I am a classically trained grade 8 soprano who has performed nationally and internationally including for HRH The Prince of Wales with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Choir and was proud to be the youngest chorister to be accepted into the Metropolitan Cathedral YouthChoir. I have excellent knowledge of Music Theory and a GCSE and A Level Music.
I also have experience preparing students for auditions, music aptitude tests, entrance to university, Drama school and college applications.
I am passionate about providing a bespoke service, tailoring my lessons to meet a student's individual needs and goals. My lessons will inspire a love of learning and build confidence whilst ensuring outstanding progress and excellent results.
