About Lauren
As a bedside nurse, I have practiced in a variety of settings but primarily in Hospice and Palliative care. I have been training both officially (and unofficially through mentorship, preceptorship, etc.) for 25 years. I understand that everyone learns differently and look to work with each student individually even in a group setting to make sure information is being learned. Being open to constructive feedback and recognizing that there is always something to learn I believe promotes me as an educator

Over 20 years of bedside and educational experience. I am a strong believer in Adult learning theory and although I have facilitated large training sessions both in person and online I have also provided training and support for smaller cohorts and excel at 1:1 sessions as well. Previously I was instrumental in standing up several training programs including one for a Hospice provider, Case Management, and Utilization Management programs. I have also created and facilitated a Train the Trainer program.
