About Brandon
I received my PhD in electrical engineering in 2022 and my Master's in physics in 2016. I worked as a research and teaching assistant throughout my graduate studies. Over 6 years of tutoring and teaching college-level courses, I have taught hundreds of students from a wide range of backgrounds and skill sets. Some students were working towards physics and engineering degrees and were taking calculus-based physics, while others were studying physics as a general elective and were taking algebra-based physics. These experiences have made me more flexible in my teaching approach, and I can modify my lessons to meet the goals of individual students.

I have 6 years of experience working as a teaching assistant and tutor for college-level physics and electrical engineering courses. Throughout my time as an educator and research scientist, I have found that problem-solving skills and quantitative analysis are far more important than finding shortcuts to arrive at the correct answer. Therefore, during my lessons, we will work through thought-provoking example problems that focus more on processes than results.
