About Alice
I went into teaching to help the struggling math student. I saw my sister crying while doing her math homework. My fifth-grade teacher had me help other students and it felt good to help other students with their mathematics. I eventually volunteered to help students at an education outreach center and it made me feel good to see them have their "a-ha" moments. I use humor and laughter to help students get through their math lessons. When you laugh, then you are open to the process of math.

My teaching method evolves around the individual students. I am very interactive with students and their needs. The actual lesson centers around the student. Modeling every step is my main skill. Then I get the student to successful implementation on their own problems. We will work together as partners until they are confident.
