About Junior
Hi, I’m Junior! I’m a Biomedical Science student at the University of Strathclyde with a strong passion for science and education. I have experience tutoring Chemistry, Biology and Physics and particularly enjoy helping students turn topics they find difficult into something they genuinely understand.
I achieved A grades in Higher Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Maths, as well as Advanced Higher Chemistry and Biology, so I understand both the knowledge and exam technique required to succeed in Scottish qualifications.
My long-term goal is to become a science teacher, and tutoring allows me to combine two things I genuinely enjoy: science and helping young people develop confidence in their abilities.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting something wrong. Whether you’re aiming to pass, improve your grade or push towards an A, I’ll help you build your understanding step by step.

ALL LESSONS ARE ONLINE VIA ZOOM.
My lessons are delivered online via Zoom and are designed to make National 5 and Higher Chemistry and Biology clear, engaging and easier to understand. I focus on breaking down difficult topics, working through SQA-style exam questions, and helping students understand exactly what questions are asking and how to structure strong answers. Sessions are interactive and tailored to the areas each student finds most challenging. We’ll work through concepts step-by-step, practise calculations and exam questions, identify common mistakes, and develop strong exam technique. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they learn. My goal isn’t simply to help students memorise answers, it’s to help them genuinely understand the science, build confidence, and become more independent when answering exam questions.

Details
Online small-group tuition: £30 per student per hour, with a maximum of 5 students per group. Sessions are available for National 5 and Higher Chemistry and Biology. 4-week block: £120 8-week block: £230 A 30-minute introductory session is available free of charge to discuss goals, current level and how the group sessions work. All lessons are delivered online.
