About Senai
I am an optimistic, caring and driven individual. I have just returned to the UK from teaching at one of the top schools in the Dominican Republic, where I coached multiple students to reach the National finals of the Maths Olympics.
I enjoy developing students' love for the subject and building strong, respectful relationships with them. This creates a solid drive to do well, comfort in expressing issues, and an undoing of any negative connotations with the subject.
I strongly do NOT believe in a "Maths Brain"; every student can succeed, and they just need the right tools, support, and explanations to do so.

I am a positive and energetic individual who creates productive learning environments through positive reinforcement. I ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions and strive to meet them at their level.
I take the time to understand the student's needs to provide lessons to support their current learning, fill in gaps causing issues with new material, or stretch them to further their ability and love for the subject.
I believe in building an understanding of concepts to give students the tools to succeed, developing a grasp of the marking criteria to give them the best chance of success, and providing resources for students to further their studies beyond the session.
With experience in engineering, social sciences (population health), and coding, I know how to provide students with real-world examples to ensure understanding and/or further challenge.
