Hello, I'm Jonathon, I'm an experienced tutor and teacher of Science with a passion to ensure that all students are able to reach their full potential and keep their options open for later in life.

My lessons are typically one hour long on Teams/Zoom and are aimed at Key Stage 3, 4 or 5 students in any of the 3 Sciences at any ability level (Foundation, Higher, Triple, AS, A-level).
Lessons typically involve the student deciding areas they want to focus on, explanations and examples of the key content the student will need to know from me.
The lessons will usually finish with related exam questions from the relevant exam board to check understanding and help the student gain experience of how to answer exam questions rather than just what to write. My qualifications are GCSEs, A-levels, two degrees, a PGCE, a completed ECT induction period (2 years) and an SKE in A level Science.
My experience is a total of 6 years teaching experience, 4 years experience tutoring and a further 7 years working at F.E and H.E level with SEN students.
