About Matthew
I am an experienced software engineer with masters and bachelors degrees in computer science from Brown University. I have experience as a teaching assistant, as well as a frequent tutor for friends and family. I find computer science and programming fundamentals so intriguing and elegant, and I want to help others discover what's so cool about them too.

My primary goal is to help my students both understand what they want to learn and build a solid grasp of the fundamental concepts behind the material, at whatever pace works best for their level. I believe that when it comes to programming, the best way to learn is through implementation. I am happy to teach anyone from total newcomers wanting to learn a new skill to experienced students looking to investigate the ins and outs of a topic.
