About Zarah
Hello! I’m a dedicated Special Education Math Teacher with experience working with students of all ages, especially middle school learners who find math challenging. I believe that everyone can succeed in math when they’re given the right tools, support, and encouragement. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and feel proud of their progress even if math isn’t their favorite subject. I bring patience, positivity, and creativity to every lesson. I tailor my teaching methods to fit each student’s unique learning style, whether that means using visuals, hands-on examples, or step-by-step guidance. My classroom and tutoring sessions are safe spaces where mistakes are part of learning, and growth is celebrated every day. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading comic books, hiking, cooking, and listening to all kinds of music. I find that connecting through shared interests helps students relax and feel more comfortable, which makes learning more enjoyable and effective. You may not end up loving math as much as I do, but I promise to help you understand it, feel more confident with it, and reach your personal best.

As a special education math teacher, I focus on meeting each student exactly where they are. My approach combines patience, structure, and encouragement to help students build both understanding and confidence in math.
