About Rikinder
Hi, I’m Riki! I believe that anyone can master maths—they just need it explained through a lens that excites them. I am a seasoned STEM educator with many years of dedicated maths tutoring experience, alongside 2.5 years of experience working professionally as a Robotics and Coding Instructor for students aged 5 to 15. I know exactly how to capture the attention of younger learners, break down abstract concepts, and keep lessons highly engaging. Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s in Power Electronics, and a second Master’s in Political Science. Having studied university-level mathematics deeply, I don't just teach from a textbook; I connect maths to real-world technology, logic, and problem-solving. Having taught hundreds of children aged 5–15, I know that no two students learn the same way. My approach combines classic mathematical principles with modern STEM teaching techniques: Interactive & Gamified Logic: Drawing from my robotics and coding background, I use practical problem-solving and visual tools to make subjects tangible, not just theoretical. The 'Bite-Sized' Strategy: We break down intimidating topics (like long division, fractions, algebra, or geometry) into small, achievable steps until the 'lightbulb' moment happens.
Building Confidence, Erasing Anxiety: Many students underperform in maths, physics simply due to stress. I create a relaxed, judgement-free zone where mistakes are just a natural part of the learning process.
