About Aditya
I'm patient and diligent, I love teaching, and I promise to always work until you, the student, understand everything about the subject. I have hundreds of hours of experience working with UpChieve as a volunteer tutor, years of experience as a private tutor, and as a library volunteer with other kids for over a year. I promise to give you my best effort as a tutor and I can't wait to get to work!

I like to teach students through two methods, depending on the situation. If a student wants to learn about a specific topic or is struggling with one, I will take some notes on the subject and prepare practice problems for the student and me to work through before our lesson. During the lesson, I will teach the topic, teach through a practice problem or two, work on a practice problem with the student, and then allow them to attempt some on their own. Alternatively, if a student needs help with homework, I can show them how to solve similar problems so that they can try solving the homework problems on their own. This prevents me from just doing their homework for the student while also helping the student effectively learn the topic and complete their assignment. As for me, I feel like my strengths as a tutor are my patience and my preparation. Because I spent a long time working with little kids and challenged students, I've developed a lot more patience in working with and teaching students. Additionally, I've realized over time that preparing for lessons with resources, plans, and notes helps the student and me spend more time on the actual learning. My target audience for these lessons is any student K-10. I have the most experience teaching elementary and middle school students from my time with UpChieve as well as the private tutoring I used to do. But, I have also worked with high schoolers before.
